Shipment Menu in Typeset
In the Shipment menu you find the following options to finish the production process:
Print Shipping List
Change Shipment Status
Print Shipping List
After production is finished you can change the typeset status of each stamp into the In box status
SOSET will check each entry and print a list of finished
products, sorted by customer and by order-number, BUT only of
orders, which are completed.
An order is considered to be complete if all orderparts/stamps in
an order have the In box status. SOSET will
check this and automatically change the typeset status of all
orderitems from In box into Ready to
ship.
The shipping lists will not only show customer- and order-information, but also the box number in which the products are stored.
The printed shipping list is very helpful in processing your invoices, especially when you use the option to save this shipping data to an ASCII-type file (when the Print Import/export data in the Local Preferences is marked Typeset will prompt you to save the data in an ASCII-type file).
This file contains the following information fields: CustID, OrderNo., PartNo., Quantity, ProductID, ColorID, BoxNo., DateIn, DateOut, Rush.
The format length of fields is as follows:
- In case of numbering: respectively:
6, 8, 3, # [#], 12, 2, 6, 8, 8, RUSH | RUSH 48 HOURS | RUSH 24 HOURS. [#] = the entered quantity; # = the actual quantity. - In all other cases:
6, 8, 3, #, 12, 2, 6, 8, 8, RUSH | RUSH 48 HOURS | RUSH 24 HOURS. # = the actual quantity.
The data can be easily interfaced with your current invoicing system.
For more information about the format of the exported file see SOSET Export Interface File Version 2.89.
Change Shipment Status
In this menu-option you can update the status of all order-items from Ready to ship into Shipped to keep your SOSET system up-to-date.
For more information about the format of the exported file see SOSET Export Interface File Version 2.89.
